Haley Kirk

Owner/Head Trainer

Haley Kirk graduated from NC State in 2012 with a BS in Horticulture Science and moved home to Hillsborough, NC(where she is still located). She got her first dog that year, started fostering for rescues, and began boarding dogs in her home.  Haley’s hobby quickly turned into a passion, and soon a career.  She found that she was able to care for dogs that were kicked out of other places for behavior issues.  Haley started training professionally in the spring of 2018, taking on obedience, anxiety, and aggression issues.  Haley loves continuing her education through reading books by world renowned trainers, connecting and discussing dogs with other canine professionals, attending seminars and shadow programs, and most of all by experience. You can read all the books in the world, get as many degrees as you want, but nothing is as valuable as working with challenging and difficult dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horse, playing Rugby with the Eno River Women’s team, and spending time outdoors with her pups.
